Door Styles

Your choice in cabinetry is going to have a large impact on the feel and look of your kitchen, bathroom and any other room of installation. The front or door-style of your cabinetry is where the personality of the cabinet shows through the most, so this choice demands some attention and detail. As you scroll through Primera’s long list of choices, keep in mind how you want the cabinets to affect the feel, look and flow of the home or office. Our cabinets are laid out with 3 descriptive categories: 1. the style’s name, 2. the type of panel, 3. the type overlay. The style’s name is for specification purposes, the panel usually has two options, raised or sunken sometimes it is flushed or beaded as well, and the overlay has three subcategories.

The Standard Overlay: Reveals part of the face-frame of the cabinet all around the perimeter of the door and of the drawer. The Standard Overlay is constructed to have a small (3/4) gap or opening between itself and the face-frame so that you can easily open it without the use of knobs or handles or any hardware. This type of style evokes a traditional and ageless feel.

The Semi-Full Overlay: Shows less of the face-frame by using a little wider door and drawer. This type of construction is in the middle between the standard and the full overlay; it offers you the look of a full overlay while still allowing you the ¾ gap so that knobs or handles and hardware are optional.

Full Overlay: In a word is seamless; the fronts of the doors and drawers cover the entire face-frame of the cabinet. The full overlay look can be dynamic when inputted with door styles that have five-piece drawer fronts. The full overlay differentiates from the other two because it does require knobs or handles and hardware.

Resilient Flooring At Primera's, you can find laminate flooring that looks like true hardwood or stone. It is usually less expensive, and it is easy to maintain.
