Composition
CaesarStone is comprised of 93% crushed quartz, one of nature’s hardest minerals. Quartz combined with high-quality polymer resins and pigments create a durable, nonporous surface.
Colors and Styles
CaesarStone offers the widest spectrum of design options in the quartz surfacing industry — from fine-grained aggregates to coarse-grained color blends with variegated visual textures. Contact CaesarStone for literature and samples.
Stocked Standards: 40 color styles are available in a polished finish — 5 available in a honed finish, and 1 textured finish.
Custom: Custom colors and styles are available at no extra cost for orders of 4,500 sq. ft. or more.
Finishes
CaesarStone offers four distinctive surface finishes that add character beyond color and texture. CaesarStone can be finished on two faces by special order, requiring a minimum order quantity and additional lead-time.
Polished surfaces have a silk gloss finish with a ratio greater than or equal to 35% at 50°.
Honed is matte surface finish with the look and feel of natural stone, requiring more maintenance but no sealants.
Textured surfaces have a unique, matte-hammered appearance.
Motivo™ is a pattern-design application applying a patented embossed effect.
CaesarStone is virtually maintenance-free — its durable quartz aggregate makes the surface harder and more scratch-resistant than granite or marble. High-quality polymer binders make it nonporous and extremely resistant to stains. CaesarStone keeps its luster without sealants or waxes, meeting the stringent sanitation requirements of restaurants, hospitals, and schools.

Dimensions
Thickness (nominal): Typical Uses:
¾” (20mm) Minimum thickness recommended for countertops and partitions
1¼”(30mm) Used when greater strength or thicker slabs are required
Slab Size: 120 inches (3.10m) long 56.5 inches (1.44m) wide.
Limitations
- CaesarStone is recommended for interior use only.
- Chemical: Avoid contact with products containing trichloroethane or methylene chloride (such as paint removers or strippers), abrasives, solutions with alkaline levels higher than 8 pH, hydrofluoric acid, liquid bluing and aggressive cleaning compounds such as oven or grill cleaners. Nitric acid will discolor CaesarStone’s surface but does not compromise its strength. Concentrations of over 10% sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide can etch CaesarStone. In the event of accidental exposure, immediately rinse CaesarStone with clean water.
- Intense Heat: CaesarStone will handle brief exposure to moderately hot temperatures (up to 350°F / 180°C). Brief contact with a hot pot will not ruin the surface. However, prolonged exposure to searing hot pots or open flames can cause thermal shock, discoloration, or other damage. Ignition temperature is 914°F (490°C). Trivets or hot pads should always be used.
